There is something liberating but also exhaustive changing OS after so many years. Short story, my PC died and my new PC for whatever reason doesn't like Manjaro (at least the encrypted swap drive). Nor does MXLinux. But trying it out anyway with swap file instead of volume, which works on both. I miss the AUR (Arch user repository) but most of what I need (with some additional work on my part) I got working. MXLinux's theme is a hot mess, I'm going to try for the first time modding a theme instead of just installing a theme. Side note @V E C T O R works with out having to compile it but I never have the latest and greatest. Sometimes you have to pick your battles. #manjaro #arch #mxlinux #vector
Graphene OS users, if your home wifi stops working, unable to connect or IP address issues, it may be the router ran out of DHCP leases. We have multiple devices and come any go many times per day. Every new connection by default uses a new random MAC address. Most routers then reserve the IP address tied to that MAC address eventually filling the entire DHCP table in n the router. The fix is easy, just alter the wifi connection to use a single random MAC or the device MAC. You may also share the device name so you can more easily track who is connected to the network. #grapheneos
