It’s interesting when you think about the adoption and widespread use of AI in terms of the “parable of the two builders” from the Bible. The one about building one’s house on sand vs building it on rock. What really baked my noodle when it dawned on me, is that AI literally IS built on sand. (silicon) And maybe in more ways than one. The business world will certainly leverage AI coding tools, but I’m sure most here agree the learning of manual coding must be kept alive. I can see incentives for big tech to get a generation hooked on agentic coding tools of which they are the gatekeepers. That’s a pretty easy setup for a rug some day in the future. What do you think? #asknostr

Of all the beautiful things this world could be, full of good souls who want only to feel connected and do well by their fellow man, why has it turned into a tax livestock operation? It’s a tragedy of the worst kind. Millions of people who see the promise of what we can be, on the other side of the glass, but never able to touch it. Who, centuries ago, looked at humanity and decided this was our best use?

Imagine a whole generation of open source devs 10 years from now getting rugged because they never learned to code.
