Was curious, nice!
How controlled/oppressed is the population in the most powerful countries in the world (militarily+technologically+financially), USA, China and Russia.
I thought, a way to know, could be researching the number of riots involving property damage per year, indicating how much discontent for the last 5 years,
The challenge, remove main stream media unilateral mentions by any of the countries queried...
Results:
USA: Approximately 30 to 400 riots per year involving property damage.
China: Approximately 800 riots per year involving property damage.
Russia: Approximately 50 to 150 riots per year involving property damage.
These estimates focus on riots that resulted in property damage, reflecting significant unrest in each country.
Thoughts:
I love math, numbers don't lie, now, normalizing by the size of the population
Summary of Normalized Riots Involving Property Damage (per million people, only the high value
USA: Approximately 1.19 riots per million people per year.
China: Approximately 0.57 riots per million people per year.
Russia: Approximately 1.03 riots per million people per year.
Fascinating, the more you know
this was a good read, thank you
"Faster than fairies, faster than witches,
Bridges and houses, hedges and ditches;
And charging along like troops in a battle,
All through the meadows the horses and cattle:
All of the sights of the hill and the plain
Fly as thick as driving rain;
And ever again, in the wink of an eye,
Painted stations whistle by.
Here is a child who clambers and scrambles,
All by himself and gathering brambles;
Here is a tramp who stands and gazes;
And there is the green for stringing the daisies!
Here is a cart run away in the road
Lumping along with man and load;
And here is a mill and there is a river:
Each a glimpse and gone for ever!"
