The Bitcoin Teacher After spending the afternoon reading about economics, I found myself thinking about a teacher I had in my teenage years. An economics teacher, specifically. I was the typical punk teenager, anti-system “just because.” Back then, I would have never thought I’d need to understand economics. Even so, I always recognized he was one of the best teachers I ever had. Not because of the subject itself, but because of the way he was: he saw each student as an individual, not as a crowd sitting in front of him. I never passed his class —that should be said too—. We argued, we debated… but economics simply didn’t interest me. Years went by, and Bitcoin crossed my path. I had already read a bit about it before, back when I was googling things like “how to live outside the system.” But at that time there was too much noise, too many arguments… and that pushed me away. After a while, Bitcoin showed up again. One thing was clear: it was still there, regardless of the noise and the discussions that had once driven me away. I decided to step in. I bought my first satoshis —what I now call my A.S. / D.S. (Before Satoshis / After Satoshis)— and started studying. Over time, something changed. I used to only care about art and computers. Today, economics is on the same level. And it all started with something as simple as buying a few satoshis. Thinking about this made me smile :) and I just wanted to share it. Hope I didn’t bore anyone (if anyone actually reads this). I’m a graffiti writer… I’m more used to writing 4 or 5 styled letters than texts like this.
