Had to go for music after maintenance. Went to 1969 and Rolling Stones at the Altamont Speedway Free Concert which became infamous for its violence and chaos. Held on December 6 near San Francisco, the event was intended as a West Coast counterpart to Woodstock. However, it spiraled out of control due to poor planning and the decision to hire the Hells Angels as security. Tensions escalated throughout the day, and during the Stones' set, an audience member, Meredith Hunter, was stabbed and killed by a Hells Angel after brandishing a gun. The tragedy marked the end of the 1960s counterculture dream, casting a shadow over the era of peace and love.
