He also directed The American President, which I have to admit I still have a soft spot for. I work with a lot of people ahem younger than me and one year I discovered that none of my leads had seen The Princess Bride. So I bought them all a copy on Blu-ray only to discover that none of them had a player. 🫢luckily there was a digital code.
