Social use of “social media” generally doesn’t require much brain work (or brain) so it isn’t necessarily “taxing.” Following the Trump’n Yahoo crime circus is a different story. Regardless of which side you are on, you are very likely experiencing an emotional drain of energy. This energy is then not available for productive or regenerative use therefore is yet another tangible, though “hidden tax on humanity.” Add lost productivity to the list of “costs” of MAGA.
