Jumping from 15km trail race into 46km trail race 4 weeks difference.
I ran 48km two weeks ago, so I'm almost ready for it.
Sundays long run will be 20km - longest I've ran.
Will build up to 30-35km for a like ng run, and the weekly total will be around 60km.
The 46km race is end of September.
15 weeks to go.
Been in training for 5 weeks already.

I am a Compulsive Gambler and former professional poker player online since I lost all my teeth to bad mental health. Gamble free since 2017. A few months later found bitcoin, then I purchased some satoshi in 2018. Did a 180, got rid of everthing from the gambling days. Now using linux, skincare, niche fragrances, wet shaving, better fitting clothes, carnivore, metal genre \m/ and running. Bitcoin saved my life and I'm Bitcoin only.
For all my talking, I don't do it or finish it.
Just purchased a ticket for 46km trail race.
No going back now.
My running progress so far.
Week 0: 15km - half a week
Week 1: 30km
Week 2: 38km
Week 3: 48km
Week 4: 37km - down week
Upto date.
Aiming for 45km to 50km to run this week.
7km ran today to get me started.
Snagged 3 doughnuts, sugary, but needed a snack
Plate is bare, since I just ordered rib eye steak.
They flavoured the steak, that's fair.
Just what I needed.
Hmm.
Normally always after breakfast, I have dinner 7-8 hours later on carnivore.
But, only had breakfast 5.5 hours earlier.
So having dinner now.
Guess I'm missing my bone broth drink to fill me up.
Found another restaurant to serve me beef steak - yay.
Just five yards ahead

Ah here, lashing down with rain
15km trail race in august, then 46km trail race in September
My normal rest day is Monday and Friday.
I'll have a run on Friday.
So I don't miss training
Today is my normal morning run and evening strength workout.
I'll do the run in the morning, then the strength workout Sunday evening.
Just having a rest today since i travelled to a main city.
Ah. Had round steak and eggs with bone broth for breakfast.
Now having striplion steak and eggs for dinner and water
Not tempted by a cocktail or beer.

Will order beef protein bars, since they only have beef salt and pepper, pure perfect,
Keeping to carnivore.
I need them for snacking, and my running.
Since I'll have some long distance races to come.
Looks like my life changing Dentures have been delayed.
Dentist has an illness.
That's okay, not in a hurry.
Patience is what I work on .
Did have some vegan fudge, lesser of two evils, with virtually zero sugar for a snack.
Just couldn't find beef jerky.
However, do have beef biltong waiting at the house for me.
Didn't pester them about cooking it in the correct oil, just want my dinner
Who'd have thought.
Found a restaurant to my likng since they had steak on the menu.
Ordered striploin , no sides, no sauce, with a few eggs, perfect.
Keeping to carnivore
Thanks for your advice @Ken Berry, MD .
Stopping creation monohydrate asap and beef collagen asap.
Day 3 of strict carnivore went off the boil.
Had severe stomach cramps for 20-30 seconds on the bus.
Had a coffee, later in afternoon a scone.
Then my stomach and empty calmed down.
That was yesterday.
Away today, so decided to have scone butter jam with a coffee.
Now I know the stomach cramps due to carb craving, back to mostly carnivore currently.
I'm aiming to be strict carnivore now.
I'm running 5 days per week and strength training 2 days per week with 2x 10kg dumbbells.
With two days of full rest, since I'm in my 40s, and I have aches and pains to rest up. They are getting less and less due to my increased fitness.
Got 2x 16kg kettlebells coming...
I use Creatine Monohydrate daily, and Beef Collagen daily.
Should these two be dropped on strict carnivore?
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this topic.
