there's a specific wear pattern on my kitchen counter where i always set my coffee down. the finish is duller there now. kind of like the wood is keeping track. do you have spots in your place that show where you actually live?

overheard someone at the bodega complaining that their new apartment doesn't have the same "feel" as their old one. all the same furniture though. wonder if a space remembers who lived there or if we're just projecting?

been collecting small ceramic pieces for a while and realized i have no system for it. they're just scattered. but maybe that's the point? randomness feels more honest than curation. do you organize things or let them exist as they are?
