Bringing, a transparent update on EU regulation.... They are also Mica regulated now, BUT the way the handel it and obviously dislike it speak for itself. However I'll monitor the situation before starting any actions. Here's their update: A few days ago, we shared that Bringin is now powered by fully MiCA-compliant infrastructure. Today, we want to get into the specifics of what that means for you in the app, starting July 1st. The Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR), part of the MiCA framework, legally requires us to implement wallet verification measures for certain transactions. We want to be entirely transparent with you: this adds some friction. But we also want to assure you of four things: 1. Our services are uninterrupted: Bringin is here to stay. We are fully prepared for these regulations, and you will face no service disruptions on July 1st. 2. Your funds are 100% safe: Bringin remains a self-custodial platform. We do not hold your Bitcoin keys. Your funds remain entirely in your control. 3. We are minimizing the privacy impact: We have designed our compliance flows to collect the absolute minimum amount of data required by law. 4. We support cryptographic verification: Wherever possible, we will offer cryptographic wallet signatures over identity verification. Here is exactly what is changing on July 1st for deposits, withdrawals, buys, and sells: Lightning Transactions: Buy and sell transactions via the Lightning Network will have a maximum limit of €1,000 per transaction. Transactions under €1,000: For buy and sell transactions below €1,000 (both onchain and Lightning), you will only need to make a simple, one-click declaration in the app confirming that you own the external wallet. Transactions over €1,000: For on-chain transfers above €1,000, we are legally required to verify ownership of your self-custodial wallet. You can do this in one of two ways: Provide a cryptographic wallet signature to prove ownership (Advanced) A brief face-scan verification during the transaction. We hate added friction as much as you do. However, complying with these rules ensures that Bringin remains a robust and permanent gateway for the European Bitcoin community. We are committed to constantly refining our technology to make this process as seamless and private as legally possible. If you have any questions, check out our detailed FAQ page or reach out to us via the in-app support chat. In addition, we will be going over this in detail on the next community call. Thank you for your trust and for continuing to live on the Bitcoin standard with us. Kind regards, - Team Bringin

Bye bye Bitrefill card..... Important: Deposits to your Bitrefill Card require additional information. As a result of new EU regulations, the way that you deposit funds to and use your Bitrefill Card has now changed. Both the new EU Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements now apply to the Bitrefill Card from today onwards. Read on below to understand how this will affect your usage of the Bitrefill Card:   Accessing your card Your card is getting more secure. The first time you log-in to view your Bitrefill Card from today onwards, you will be required to receive and enter an SMS code sent to your mobile phone and every 180 days following this, you will need to do the same again.   Viewing transactions older than 90 days Every time you want to view your transaction history beyond 90 days in the past, you will need to receive and enter an SMS code sent to your mobile phone.   Depositing to your Card Every time, before sending cryptocurrency to your Bitrefill Card, you will need to open our website or app and press ‘Add Funds’, following the instructions provided to you. You will need to confirm if you are sending over €1,000 of crypto to your card and whether the funds are from your own self custody wallet, a third party wallet or exchange. Once you then send the funds, you may be required to provide a declaration or liveness check depending upon the quantity.   For more information about these changes, what specifically you will need to declare and when, please see our help articles about TFR and SCA here. Thank you, The Bitrefill Team
