there is another sneaky misinformation camping that has been going for years. people think "don't trust verify" is about self-custody, like having your own keys. which makes no sense. its about running your own node, having your own verified copy of the timechain, so you can verify things. self-custody is about "not your keys, not your coins", or "your keys, your coins" depending on the way you look at it.

some people who are blindly anti-bip110 seem to focus on "good vibes" bitcoin. not realizing they are undermining everything they cherish about bitcoin. bitcoin is not magic. bitcoin doesnt live in the clouds. running a node HAS TO BE as simple as running a wallet app.

people think so highly of ai. its kinda annoying. i use it everyday. its retarded. but useful.

your keys, your coins make your own keys, don't trust the key manufacturer, throw some dice.

connected you Phoenix lightning wallet to your own electrum server with bip110. and i know its kinda clunky without nwc but use external wallet (Phoenix) for your zaps. or you can host a nwc server on top of your lightning server if it exists, already. never done it before. buch each nostr client have zap with external wallet option. use that. make sure Phoenix is connected to your bip110 electrum server.

its not coldcard "bug" its a heist, its a trap. honeypot.

if you are only seeing content from people you follow, you organically discover new people from their reposts, quotes, or comments. its more pleasant, you only see what you wanted to see. you can unfollow or mute people. yt subscriptions tab sucks because in yt subscribing means nothing. you can subscribe to someone then never see their content again, so you never curate your subscriptions. never unsubscribe. never mute. and also there are no reposts, or advanced replies. so all you have left with is the home page.

seedsigner is cool but i dont think hardware wallets are the future of bitcoin. you cant create mass adoption by requiring people to buy something. let them use their phones. and make that secure. these signer cards, hardware wallets, node in a box boxes, are all just gadgets for the nerds. we need to make running a node on your laptop easier again. and we need better mobile wallets.
