they call it a meritocracy how bitcoin works
"meritocracy" meaning a subscribing to a core-dev "web of trust"
they think how bitcoin evolves is determined by which economic nodes subscribe to which WoT
many currently trust core devs who have made what bitcoin is up to this point, and have the most experience
Luke's WoT by now is smaller, but as well experienced
Should rules be enforced by a drifting club of ‘experienced’ devs ?
bigger WoT = the bigger, not the safer, size ≠ security
if the dominant WoT fails, the smaller ones might take care
