Life Is Like Math: The More Complicated It Gets, the More Beautiful the Solution Becomes Life doesn’t always come with simple answers. Sometimes, just like a difficult math problem, it leaves us confused, frustrated, and wondering which path to take. There are days when everything seems easy—every problem has a solution, every decision feels right, and life moves smoothly. But then come the complicated moments: unexpected challenges, painful choices, broken relationships, failures, and situations we never planned for. Yet, that is exactly what makes life meaningful. A complicated math problem teaches us patience. Life does the same. It reminds us that not every answer comes immediately. Sometimes we have to make mistakes, try again, change our approach, and keep going before we finally understand the bigger picture. The most important lesson is this: a difficult chapter does not mean your whole story is difficult. What feels confusing today may make perfect sense tomorrow. What seems like a failure may actually be preparing you for something better. And what looks like the end may simply be the beginning of a new equation. So, when life gets complicated, don't give up. Keep solving. Keep learning. Keep believing. Because just like math, life may be complicated—but every problem has a purpose, and sometimes the most beautiful answers come after the hardest questions. image

The Hidden Cost of Doctor-Pharmacy Commissions When my husband became seriously ill, I came across a troubling practice involving some doctors—not all doctors, but certain individuals. Some doctors have arrangements with medical stores where they refer their patients to buy specific medicines. In return, the pharmacy keeps the doctor’s commission in the price of the medicines and later pays that commission to the doctor. What made this even more painful for me was my own experience. In the early years of my marriage, my husband became very sick, and we trusted a particular doctor completely. We continued his treatment with that doctor for three to four years. Later, we discovered that my husband had been taking medicines for an illness that he did not actually have. The heartbreaking part was that this treatment seemed to be driven by the doctor’s financial interest and commission rather than my husband’s actual medical needs. This experience taught me how important it is for patients to seek a second opinion and to be cautious when a doctor repeatedly prescribes expensive or unnecessary medicines. image

Don’t Believe Everything You Hear: My Experience at Civil Hospital Karachi When my husband injured his foot, the situation became serious enough that surgery was required. Like any concerned family member, I started asking people for advice about where to go. Almost everyone suggested Civil Hospital in Karachi, as it is one of the largest government hospitals. However, along with the recommendation came many warnings. People told me that government hospitals do not provide proper care, that doctors are careless, and that patients often have to wait endlessly for surgeries. Hearing all this made me anxious and unsure. I was worried about my husband’s treatment and whether we were making the right decision. Despite all the negative comments, we decided to visit Civil Hospital ourselves. And honestly, my experience there was completely different from what I had been told. From the moment we arrived, the doctors were incredibly cooperative. They listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and treated us with kindness and respect. The entire staff was supportive and attentive. Instead of feeling neglected, we felt cared for and reassured throughout the process. This experience taught me a very important lesson: we should not blindly believe everything we hear from others. Rumors and assumptions can often be far from reality. What truly matters is what we see and experience ourselves. I would encourage everyone to keep an open mind and not judge a place based only on hearsay. Sometimes, the truth is much better than the stories we are told. image

Not Every Blessing Is the Same In our society, many people believe that having children means they have everything. They take pride in it, sometimes even to the point of as if it is a personal achievement rather than a blessing from God. What hurts more is that those who do not have children are often made to feel incomplete. Careless words, small taunts, and insensitive jokes can deeply wound a heart that is already carrying silent pain. People forget that not everyone’s journey is the same, and not every silence needs to be questioned. In my opinion, having children is not something to be proud of — what truly matters is having children who are respectful, kind, and obedient. I have seen people who have children, yet they live in sadness because their children do not value them or listen to them. Sometimes, in their pain, they even say that they would have been better off without children. This shows that the real blessing is not just “having” but “how they turn out.” True pride lies not in quantity, but in character. image

Jealousy vs Gratitude I have seen people who are blessed with everything—family, wealth, and a successful life—yet they still feel jealous when someone with less receives even a small blessing. Instead of being grateful, they question, “How did they get this?” But in reality, everything is part of Allah’s distribution. We should never object to His decisions; instead, we should learn to be thankful for what we have and be happy for others. image
