Today I was crocheting on my flight (as I usually do, it’s the perfect flight entertainment ✈️🧶🎬) when I noticed the girl sitting diagonally from me staring at my hands. I asked if she wanted to learn, and she lit up. We spent the next two hours making a pink scrunchie together. It was so much fun! The flight attendants were less amused, cause we frequently had yarn stretching across the aisle while I showed her the stitches. 😅 I forgot to take a picture of the finished scrunchie, but it turned out pretty! Since she still had another 6 hours of travel, I gave her my crochet hook and the rest of the yarn as a gift. She was happy, I was happy. Best flight entertainment ever. #grandmapilling

Bad knitting habits. I get obsessed with an easy pattern… and repeat it for YEARS. Before it was scrunchies. Over 5 years almost only knitting scrunchies. This is an old, very flawed scrunchie, but it’s my favorite and I use it a lot. I made it before I learned that this type of elastic isn’t great for scrunchies because it gives up pretty fast. It’s nearing its final days, so I wanted to post a picture before it’s too late 🧶💔 #crochetstr

This knitted notebook has been one of the most useful things I’ve ever knitted… and also very easy to make. I use it every day, and it really makes my notebook feel safe. The only downside is that I didn’t wash it very regularly during the past three years, and even now that I’ve washed it, it still looks a bit dirty… maybe that’s a sign to knit a new one 🔮 🧶 #knitting #crochet #crafts
