After an extremely long journey the water node V2 is fully operational.
Everything is self contained with data and power going through a single Ethernet cable.

After a long night of soldering the water control system V2 has been completed. 🍅
Feels like all progress has stalled in the last week or so. Makes me wonder if it’ll ever get done.
Nevertheless we push on. 🍅
Rip to my first board. Made the critical mistake of missing a single ground connect and fried the whole thing. I was focused on making everything so compact I didn’t even notice I missed a pin
Lesson learned, use a bigger board.
Soldered up the first node of my hub and spoke model. This is now reading the air temp, humidity, and air pressure.

Working on the new physical designs will actually make wiring everything much cleaner and modular in the long run

First prototype print for the dosing system was slightly off, we’ll have to see the new one in the morning
Finally have the electrical designs completed for the nutrient dosing system. Designing a container for the pumps and board now. Code will come quick!
Stumbled into a completely new paradigm that supposedly increases yields. Looks rather simple as well. Can’t wait to test it out

Ran the tent for the better part of the day and noticed humidity gets sky high even with plants. Humid control will be a bigger battle than I thought
Feeding system is last big hurdle before we can begin the fun part. Software automation systems
PH is now calibrated but noticed voltage drops when using other systems causing bad readings. Will need a new power supply
