summer, how i missed you ☀️🧡

Guys I have to be honest, I just got here and I've been trying to get caught up on the influencer drama that's happening right now and i'm very confused. Opening my apps to the first thing I'm seeing in the morning is everyone at each other's throats makes it discouraging to want to continue on these apps. I was under the impression that Nostr would be a great opportunity to learn about decentralized social media and meet people that have additional knowledge on building these types of platforms (which I still think this!). But.. these people are supposed to be the ones encouraging people to join Nostr and show the type of community growth that it can being are the same people making Nostr feel like a hostile takeover of my feed, kind of contradictory don't ya think? I'm all for freedom to express open thoughts as they are, but this type of drama puts a bad taste in newcomers mouths about the whole experience in general. I feel like there are better ways to discuss these issues and deliberate these situations without making central feeds feel like a battlefield. Just my thoughts on the situation!
