GM Nostr! Reminder that no matter what the season is where you live, its always a good time to get lost outside! Its dead-ass winter here….easy to sit by the fire and wish the cold away. I was able to get lost in the mountains on Friday and out on the river for some fishing yesterday and feel completely recharged. While ₿ may be digital freedom, spiritual freedom is still found in meatspace…preferably outdoors.

All of the recent news out of Minnesota reminds me why I started converting my savings to Bitcoin in 2021. Yes NGU is nice, but this was always about opting in to a non-violent means of separating money from state. The rebelution is just getting started.

I was reminded of a conversation with a friend about the above saying. He contends that the world isn’t a beautiful, briny shucked oyster served on a platter of ice. It’s the hard, sharp closed oyster waiting to be extracted from its shell. You need the right tools, the right plan and effort to succeed. You may cut yourself in the process if not careful, but the reward is well worth the effort. The world is an oyster…..I like that.

Took 2 of my kids to the most FIAT place on earth yesterday. My youngest’ lacrosse team has a two day tournament in area and we decided to join the team for a day in park. They’ve never been to disney….we instead vacation in nature. Hiking in national parks, snorkeling/spearfishing….they’ve come to enjoy nature and working physically while taking time away from work. It was like landing on a different planet. 🤯

2025: a blip in time on the journey towards monetary freedom. The discussions about mnav, shareholder dilution, spam filters and developer influence, proof of reserves, Epstein and quantum will all be temporary diversions to Satoshi’s vision. He picked the destination and soundtrack…freedom money for humanity. So we all need to shut our cake holes and get back to basics: stack sats, cold store, run a node and hash at home. The road will be bumpy but #WAGMI

Day was going pretty great until this. Never sleep on your opsec. Gone from the car for15 mins and someone smash and grabbed in a busy parking lot. Got wife’s cash and ran up $600 on credit cards in 10 mins. Pain in the ass, but our fault for not being vigilant.

Difference between functionality and spread on strike and river was eye opening. Bravo River! Strike looking like Armstrong is in charge.

GM! Parents weekend at my son’s college. Egg fired up before dawn and is slowly infusing 30 lbs of pork shoulder with its pecan and hickory smoke show. Good bbq is a low time preference, proof of work game.

Is this the cycle that Bitcoiners will stop knob slobbing over every "BREAKING" Tom Lee and Cathy Wood price prediction? 🙏

Things changed this week for many of us. The events that unfolded nationally, and the dialogue that followed has absolutely changed me. While somewhat late to ₿itcoin, its offered me a close look at the fiat finish-line. I’m mentally prepared to walk away from my job in surgery and have been pondering the next chapter. I’ve spent a lot of time daydreaming about the newfound time freedom. This week shattered that daydream. If ₿itcoin has bought me freedom, its time to harness my energy locally to help try to fix our broken society. Financial education is one component, but the next generation needs mentorship, spiritual guidance and a helping hand. Its time to fight back against the nihilistic evil that has infected so many in our communities. This isn’t about politics, its about healing and helping redirect focus on the power and potential from within. I’m curious if others are feeling the same calling?
