I can't remember where I read or heard this, but it was about leftism (or progressivism, they are the same thing). Basically leftists can make changes incrementally, which is why they've won all throughout history. But it was also about how leftism is corosive and every iteration of it, things get more and more fucked up. And nothing is immune from its corruption. Not even itself. So if their is leftism in Bitcoin, bitcoin will be corrupted eventually. In nostr? corrupted. On the brightside, because it also destroys itself over time eventually it will implode. I'll have to go hunt it down.

If you really want to stick it to them. If you REALLY feel that strongly. Stop using all of it. Make it so it's pointless to bother building anything for all this crap. (this is not going to happen)

My new policy regarding all the cool things is indifference. Things like Bitcoin, Nostr, etc. That does not mean I won't participate. It does not mean I won't stack. I am just divesting emotionally. The simple reason is: The odds are against you. They were always against you. Will they "win"? Yea, maybe. Will they fail? Probably. Most of us are at the mercy of a precious few elites who can make the tools we use everyday. "Just fork it" they'll say. Simply to dismiss you, because deep down they know you can't do anything about it. Because they don't actually care what you think. They never did. "Anybody can do it". This is wrong. If anybody could, they would be right now. Making an app is not a small undertaking. It requires a decent amount of knowledge to do it and do it well. While "anybody" is learning to do it. The whole ecosystem is evolving and leaving them behind. And that's okay. It's possible there is one of those elites who sympathizes with your plight! It's not like there is no hope. In the mean time: Divest. Spend more time outside. Go play disc golf, or something, if you're fortunate to be able to.

Bot and AI are really intrusive IMO. Like I didn't ask for it. If I want to interact with a bot or AI I should opt into it. Discord does this correctly, becuase If I want a bot I have to invite it to a server.

I want a nostr feature that will autoban bots and AI.

It's always been a dream of mine to assemble a fraternity of based men from all walks of life. Black, white, brown, etc. Cops, Criminals, Aristocrats, and plebs. We would meet and laugh at the absurdity of the world, do drugs, and perform elaborate pranks. This fraternity would be called the Brotherhood of Chaos.

I am already bored with nostr. I don't think it is because of nostr itself. I think it has more to do with the social aspect. In that online stuff like this is a terrible use case for social. It is great for information dissemination and content. But not really building relationships. This is not a new observation. It's definitely not something I thought of. I'm not good at content. I don't want to be, I don't think. I don't really have anything to say really. My experience in working in Tech is revealing to be a lot of dealing with constant bitching.

Discourse is basically pointless. Because most people don't seem to be able to be convinced of anything.

Online debates are so boring. After its over, if you go and observe the participants in their comfort zone. Both parties act like they won.
