Sometimes I feel like we’re all in a bubble of bitcoin news. In the real world, all of dozen plus friends and family I’ve onboarded to bitcoin, ranging from 20 -65, got their weekly DCA set, most don’t run their own node but a small amount do, they withdraw to self custody using a cold card or bitkey and they have no idea what the day to day fiat price is. Just that when they look at their wallet balance, they’re always shocked and asking more questions and increasing the amount as well as learning how to use lightning to buy food from Steak N’ Shake I don’t think bitcoiners on nostr and twitter are a clear representation of what’s going on day to day. 🫡
