@liquid_btc is biggest argument against drivechains. Once the 1-minute blocks are all full as much as mainnet is now, then we can talk about more side/drivechains. If implemented now, they could be called 'ghostchains' instead.

A friend I try to orange-pill is die-hard convinced that a currency to be good means of payment must lose value over time. His argument is ofc thinking that 'everybody gonna hoard BTC and never spend any'. Ideas how to talk him out of these misconceptions?
