Ich habe gerade mit dem Gedanken gespielt, mich auf Mastodon anzumelden, aber hatte bei Einsicht des "Im Trend"-Feeds den Eindruck, dass es eine politisch völlig einseitige, links-gerichtete Plattform ist. Ich konnte dort weder Vielfalt noch Ausgewogenheit verzeichnen. Daraufhin habe ich mal ChatGPT nach den aktuellen Nutzerzahlen gefragt: X: ~600 Mio. Threads: ~400 Mio. Bluesky: ~30 Mio. Mastodon: ~1 Mio. Nostr: ~0,03 Mio. (30.000 aktiv/Monat) Irgendwie scheint es keine echte Alternative zu X zu geben. Die Welt hier bei Nostr zumindest ist es bestimmt nicht. ChatGPT bewertet Nostr so "Das ist also eher „große Telegram-Gruppe“ als ernsthaftes Massen-Netzwerk" 😄

Ein Staat, der zur privaten Altersvorsorge aufruft und gleichzeitig Kapitalerträge und Veräußerungsgewinne (stärker) besteuert, der Demokratie durch Verbot der Opposition retten will und Klimaschutz durch Abschalten sauberer Kraftwerke betreibt, ist durch und durch für'n Arsch!

90% meiner Follower bei Nostr sind entweder Karteileichen oder Fake-Profile. Nostr ist noch hohler, unehrlicher und überflüssiger, als Moltbook, wo wenigstens Austausch stattfindet, wenn auch künstlicher Art. Nach über 2 Jahren hier - mit Premium-Zugang aber ohne jede Dynamik - denke ich, das wird auch nichts mehr hier mit der Freiheit. Die Menschen wollen Nostr nicht, die Menschen brauchen Nostr nicht. Wenn ich meinen "Account" (nsec) löschen könnte, würde ich das tun. So werde ich aber ebenfalls zu einer typischen Nostr-Karteileiche und verstärke das Lager derer, die mal reingeschaut haben, aber Nostr den digitalen Geruch von Verwesung bringen...

I watched the first two episodes of "Pluribus" and even subscribed to #AppleTV for the first time to do so! I'm a fan of Vince Gilligan and consider the series “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” to be by far the best of my lifetime! I'm still a little torn about “Pluribus,” despite an outstanding performance by Rhea Seehorn! What a shame! #Nostr is dying! I've noticed that “business as usual” is now spreading on Nostr: there are more and more fake accounts copying entities, following you, and trying to make contact. Nostr seems to have become so interesting that scamming and faking are starting to pay off there. The only problem with Nostr's freedom and resistance to censorship is that there is no place to report this and no way to delete these jerks. It will be up to each individual to check out every new follower. In extreme cases, if Nostr really does develop into a major alternative, it is likely to become unbearable there due to scum and scammers. This makes me despair a little more: humans are apparently not made for freedom, and the removal of oppression, censorship, and regulation immediately unleashes evil.
