Little downtime during Xmas rest lets me do some random homework like reviewing my password manager contents, prune unused accounts, etc. After "Xmas cleaning" I have only about 300 entries. Only 300...🤔 Found accounts from forums back in the day., where I would happily enter my full name and birth date.. 😵‍💫

It's that time of the year when you have a bit of bandwidth to update a gazillion (va. 250) accounts to new email aliases: - login to website, often 2FA, create alias, set new email address on site, verify, login with new email, 2FA again, next. Today was a good day, so much that the alias service has rate limited me hahahah. End goal is a simpler, more granular setup and cheaper than my previous setup. #privacy #identityAttribution

Doing some reading on virtual phone numbers. I want to trial a couple of systems. Having different email addresses is relatively easy, but phone numbers feels a bit more convoluted. How many phone numbers is enough?

Do you use an IAM systen? Open source? Self hosted? Looking to authenticate a couple of users using SAML or potentially OIDC re: #tailscale, but could extend to other apps.
