Can someone tell me what this is and how it works? It’s called Damus but I thought it was nostr… very confused.

I’m often clobbered by ‘Golders’ saying it’s the only real money. However after you’ve trusted a seller to verify your gold (risk) you pay them (risk/cost) then you need to trust someone to look after it (risk/cost). For me that’s hardly custodial control of my gold asset and bitcoin has none of these extra costs and risks.

When crypto comes up in conversation I scribble this out so we are not talking on cross purposes…
