Another difficult night in Kyiv. During last night’s missile and drone attack, we couldn’t quickly get our children to a shelter because we don’t have a car. So we made the safest place we could inside our apartment. We laid bedding in the hallway and put the children there for the night. My wife stayed with them, and I took this photo. This is one of the reasons we started our fundraiser for a reliable used family car — so we can move our children to safety faster when attacks happen. Today has been a difficult day in Kyiv. Drones, repeated air raid alerts, and trying to keep everyday life going in between. When you have children, the hardest part is trying to make all of this feel less frightening for them. Life continues, but days like this are never really “normal.” 🇺🇦

For families with small children, situations like this are especially difficult.
