My wife has been working on a celebration board for our dining room to put up pictures and art work for when the kids bring home stuff. I rolled my eyes at it and accepted that it was going up with or with our my consent.
Guess what? The topic of conversation was around the dinner table this evening? All the kids were beaming and bragging about their work. I think my wife was on to something.

There is no better feeling in life than watching the pure joy of innocent children smiling and giggling as they say good bye on their way to school
Reflecting on the events of this last week has hit me hard. I lost count of how many times I've been on the verge of tears because of the heartfelt tributes from millions of people. But it has inspired me to be the best father i can to my children.
My life has been in chaos for the last couple of years and that's just the nature of bringing 3 more kids into the world when you already had two. I'm starting by being more intentional with my actions.
The price of freedom is high, it always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not.
