I am a pretty weak creature, prone to error and inconsistent in good judgement. Like sheep do, I need a shepherd. The Lord is my Shepherd.
We must choose our shepherd well. Who will we follow?

Truth
"What we see unfolding in our world is a vicious pattern of hatreds rooted in the rejection of God, of the dignity of the human person, and the sanctity of the family. We can eradicate these ills only through a firm reliance on God, through a deeper devotion to Christ and the Gospel, through a sincere love for persons reflected in law, and through a renewed commitment to justice and public order."
- adapted from a statement by Bishop M. Burbridge

If you have not moved to a bitcoin standard, your currency is being destroyed along with your standard of living and your freedom. Thank you @Efrat Fenigson @agustin_kassis and @You’re The Voice for spreading the message of #bitcoin and #nostr , both powerful tools to fight the system of theft which has been stealing from us, not just in Argentina, but in every country in the world that runs on central bank money printing.

Politicians….

Struggle is a part of the human experience.
Whether we realize it or not, each one of us has the agency to choose the good, the true, and the beautiful even when it is difficult. Our human weakness tempts us to avoid suffering at all costs and choose the false promises of selfishness. These choices ultimately hurt others and leave us unsatisfied.
The season of Lent has traditionally been a training ground for Christians to learn to suffer for a higher cause as Jesus modeled when he went to the desert for 40 days, fasted, and was tempted. With prayer and a heart committed to love God and others, we receive the grace we need to overcome temptation and bring light into a dark and selfish world. The reward is real joy and a lasting internal peace that only Christ can deliver.

It is a daily challenge to not be a jerk when life is annoying, upsetting, painful, or otherwise difficult. Each of us can choose the path of virtue as modeled by Jesus Christ.
Lent is an opportunity to practice choosing the good, beautiful, and true even when we are hungry, thirsty, tired, or frustrated. As the Lord’s prayer says: “Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.”

Consider sharing this gem from @Jeff Booth and @Peter McCormack to help people move their time from a system based on theft to a system based on truth and abundance.

The common culture that unites Europe and America is grounded in the Christian faith. It is simply the case that reverence for the dignity of the individual, for human rights, for political freedom, and for equality comes, in the final analysis, from the Christian Gospel. Europe and America will truly flourish when each re-discovers its spiritual mooring.

that they may see your good deeds

Jesus Christ is calling us out of the darkness into the light as He did with the Apostles Simon and Andrew. He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” May we consider answering that call with a free “Yes” each and every day of our lives so that may be lamps that dispel the darkness by bring Christ, the light of the world, to all we encounter. May the truth set us free so that we may all be one in Him. Amen
