Apart from the sections of SHA-256, I am slowly beginning to design the UI look as well. image

Looking at the unfinished form of the final phases of SHA-256. This part covers the last round of compression, where the working variables take their final values. After that comes the step of adding those final values to the initial hash values, which produces the message digest in binary form. The very last step is converting that digest into its hexadecimal representation. Finishing this section has taken longer than I planned, and I still have a little ways to go — but I like what I’m seeing so far. image

Hypothetically, off-grid Bitcoin mining in the Alaskan Bush would require more than standard ASIC hardware. Additional equipment would include a stream-driven generator, weather-resistant housing for electronics, satellite internet connectivity, and transport solutions for remote terrain. Required skills extend to electrical setup, generator maintenance, structural assembly, and general remote survival competency.

Studied where I’m at with the guidelines. This is close to being it for the guidelines. There’s a couple of areas that have to be firmed up, but I’ll do that while doing the major painting portions. image

The hard part — though not necessarily difficult, just time-consuming — is having to build the references from scratch because they don’t exist. Or rather, you have to pull them out of the abstract and build them before you can work on the main piece. I try to work on it every day, because if I don’t, I can lose my place and get lost in all the layers and references involved. Sometimes I’ll make a quick video on my smartphone as a kind of bookmark, in case I have to step away from the project for more than a day or two. image

Completed all the guidelines for the “final compression round” (W63). So, I am close to being able to start the actual color painting process.
