the truth no one wants to talk about and which i find slightly annoying: it should be obvious that bitcoin is totally useless if you couldn't use it to evade taxes. as long as you pay taxes on your bitcoin (and herewith legitimize not only their fiat currency but admit that the government still owns your money and exercises control and power over you) you have achieved nothing and still fund their wars. if you can’t dodge taxes with bitcoin, you can’t use bitcoin without permission and with that bitcoin becomes useless and you may as well use their banking system again. luckily you can use bitcoin to cheat on your taxes which in my opinion is the right thing to do and which everyone should feel morally obliged to. use the evaded taxes instead to fund open source projects or humanitarian aid organizations (many of them accept bitcoin!).
