I like Sam Harris but he can’t move beyond the Covid vaccine dichotomy He seems to think the only objection to it is from ignorant fringe science maga people

It’s a little weird in eastern time to have nye when the rest of the world has had it for ages

Zuckerberg went from “I regret censoring Covid info” (though I think Facebook funded fact check orgs) - which is legitimate, and people in a vacuum should not have revolted against it on political bias grounds - to “it’s now official policy that it’s ok to call lgbt mentally ill” I’ve dithered a bit about him over the years trying to give him benefit of doubts (and especially trying to defend him when it comes to politics because people don’t realize they’ve been lied to, you know) but I honestly don’t think he has a shred of ethics in his body at all, he lies and I’m sure he was probably happy to censor Covid, anything to serve power (if I’m wrong then I’m wrong) (The fact does remain that the population does think vaccine = safe and lockdowns and masks = necessary so they’re liable to push back against him purely on grounds of politics and “science” hence the initial wanting by me to defend him - also Google/youtube suck at this too, they do so much censorship)

I look at Reddit and it just feels like enforced narrative, about anything Subreddits share mods, they’ll ban people based on ideology, I think there was even a soft coup in 2016 where all the “disagreeable” mods got replaced From there it simply becomes self selecting
