Would smaller, more distributed (decentralized) data centers be easier to build than whatever neoscalers are doing to meet resistance? I hope towns that are already capable of maintaining municipal broadband have thought about installing municipal compute. Wouldn't want to see it at a state or national level, but I think it could work locally.
