Thanks for the wake up call! I deployed Prometheus and Grafana and now I'm hooking up everything 😅 My TrueNAS, Proxmox, Unifi (there's a nice video by TechnoTim in yt), and Home Assistant. I have no idea what to make with all those data, the next step is to set up alerts I guess. Great episode as always.

Stop suggesting awesome projects! I'm running out of resources 😂
NetAlertX seems promising, I've seen it mentioned in a youtube video but didn't bother deploying it. I now have to try it!

Thanks for having my rack featured! It was a great episode!
Also, I didn't think I'd win the boosties 😅 Since I'm already a member, I'll pass the gift to someone else. I'm talking with HybridSarcasm and will let you know probably next week.
Happy 2026!

Quick anecdote.
After using pihole on an rpi2(!) for over 5 years, with the same SD card mind you, I have switched to technitium, and I'm not going back!
The switch happened when I boasted about my pihole setup to a colleague and how it's been robust for the last 5 years. After the video call, internet connection drops and I naturally suspect DNS issues. I plug jetkvm to the rpi2 and sure enough got a kernel panic, possibly due to a corrupt SD card 😅
I quickly deployed technitium on an LXC and been using it ever since! I'll probably move it to its own hardware sometime in the future.
I just wish it had a better mobile UI and it wasn't a single page app, which can be frustrating at times.

I'm getting an error from Drew's node btw. It's the only split that fails.
