I’m reading Goethe’s “Faust”, and there you have it - the Devil convincing an emperor to use paper money instead of gold. If I’m not mistaken, and I guess the rest of the book will make it clearer: Goethe would have loved Bitcoin. He’s literally talking about hard money and paper money - having THE DEVIL promote paper money.
