⚡ Thunderhub XBT 0.19.0-xbt.2: resize your channels without closing them
Our Thunderhub for BLAKE2b Lightning now does splicing, from Channels → "Resize":
• Grow: move sats from your on-chain wallet into an open channel.
• Shrink: move sats from your side of the channel to an on-chain address. It's how you take sats out without closing the channel.
The channel keeps working while the change confirms, and keeps its history.
Before you confirm, you see the fee, the capacity and your balance before and after, and how many confirmations until it locks. For each channel it tells you whether it can be resized and, if not, why; for example, when the peer hasn't turned splicing on.
Requirements:
• Lightning Fork 0.21.4-beta-blake2b.19 or later (.20 recommended) with protocol.splice=true in lnd.conf, or "Resize Channels" on StartOS/Umbrel.
• The other node must have it on too and be online.
👉 Ask your peers to turn splicing on: today only 18 of my 53 channels can be resized.
