Another awesome @BitcoinWalk ! It’s amazing how time flies even on a low time preference when I’m with my @Club Orange friends.

Building team “Bitcoin For The Arts,” is turning out to be a beautiful journey. There is no better space to build than the Bitcoin community. I already have some wonder people to thank for sharing their time , their Bitcoin story, and their passion for the arts. I already know this is going to bigger than I could ever imagine because that is the ethos of Bitcoin and the individuals who choose sound money for sound living. Gm, building a Bitcoin community is like building a honor society.

Good morning, Bitcoiners & Artists 🟧 The system starves creators while printing trillions. We’re not waiting for permission. Bitcoin For The Arts just filed Form 1023. 55 % of every donation → direct BTC grants to artists. The renaissance isn’t coming. It’s being funded — one sat at a time.

In launching “Bitcoin For The Arts,” I realize it’s going to be a lot easier for people to donate their bitcoin than it is to donate their time. Time is still our most valuable asset, but hopefully as more and more of our time becomes back by bitcoin, we will have more time to donate. This is another reason why “Bitcoin For The Arts” is so important. The beautiful thing about artist is that we create work that draws people attention. Now we get to create work which will not only draw people‘s attention, but will lead in observing what humans can imagine and create on a sound money system.

Bitcoin For The Arts needs 5-7 volunteers. Role: Grants reviewer, social media, tech, outreach No pay. All glory. Help me pay artist in BTC DM if you’re ready to stack art on sound money.

A while ago when I first started my coffee meetup I had this conversation with @Matteo Pellegrini about how to get bitcoiners to come out for a meetup and he made it clear and led by example. We’ve all heard it before and the same rule applies here. Consistency, consistency, consistency. My first meetup we had one person. My second meetup we had the same one person plus three more. My third meetup we had four people(three first timers). My fourth meetup we change locations to the only Bitcoin coffee shop in NYC and no one showed up!. My fifth meetup was a solid 8 people (6 first timers) My sixth meetup we had 8 people and 1 person who I didn’t even know was there for the meetup and found out who we were later! My seventh Meetup is Saturday! Which me luck. Low time preference and consistency wins!! Thanks to my @Club Orange pals for sticking with me!
