CBDCs will take over in 5-10 years. Governments will slowly take cash out of circulation year after year. Then individuals will be under complete control. The majority will comply. Those who don't, will be oppressed. Then most of those will cave in. Those who still don't, will be crushed. I'm no doomsayer, in fact I'm optimistic most of the time, but this is such an obvious outcome given the world's economic context and how every government has been rushing at full speed towards this since the covid pandemic. The only tool we the people have against this incoming tyranny is cryptocurrency. And frankly, we won't make it. Adoption barely increased this decade. There is almost no real world usage and no new initiatives to increase it. The ones that use or hold it, are too focused watching the price chart. Meanwhile on the streets most people never heard about #bitcoin, those who did will ask you "is it still a thing?" We need for #crypto, something like Facebook was last decade, something that everyone, even your grandma, will use it. We need it quick.

Almost two days spent troubleshooting my #Linux laptop because hibernate wasn't working. Swap setup, kernel configuration, SELinux, a bunch of other things... Normally I use the PC. Pulled out this laptop from a drawer, flashed Fedora Desktop and just set SSH keys for git access so I could continue working while at my mother-in-law's house. Ended up being Bitwarden. -_- For some reason it was preventing hibernation. Dunno why, given that one of flatpak's main goals is to be isolated from the system. Sucks how this stupid thing consumed so much time. Sincerely I can't see a problem and simply ignore it. There is this urge in me to try to fix it, and I can't stop until I do. It was however a very productive weekend with my project, but if it wasn't for this, I'd have done way more.

Wasted the whole month with next to nothing done for my project. Then 24 hours for the #AI #Claude plan to renew, commit a month's worth of changes. Productivity is not linear. How do our #nostr #dev fellows deal with mailing, for example for registering users? Most #VPS providers block SMTP ports. Must I also pay for a email hosting? If so, which #noKYC provider with #crypto payments would you recommend?
