I got tired of job trackers requiring account signups, selling data, or losing track of my tailored resumes. So I built Logbook. It’s a free, open-source utility designed to track your application history and resume variants... 100% in your browser. ⚙️ Key Features: Local-first & Private: Operates entirely in your browser tab. Nothing leaves your device. The Fog Index: Measures silent applications (21+ days with no reply) so you know where you stand. Resume Manifest: Track exactly which resume fork went to which role. Light JSON Backups: One-click import and export to safely back up your data anytime. No cloud, no monthly fee, no account required. 🌐 Try it live in your browser: 📦 Star or fork the repo on GitHub: Built by bronson.co.za | fork it, break it, make it yours. image

This USDT move by Europe is positioned as “protection for the little guy”… yeah right! Europe’s crypto industry faces a hard deadline this July. The EU’s MiCA rules will force over 1,000 firms, including many exchanges and wallet apps, to shut down or get fully licensed. If your go-to crypto platform isn’t on the cleared list, your funds could be at serious risk. This leaves around 14 firms positioned to soak up 60% of the market.

A Sovereignty Field Note From the Edge There’s a lot of talk right now about collapse. Economic collapse. Political collapse. Institutional collapse. Labor collapse. AI collapse. Depending on who you listen to, we’re either ten years away from utopia or ten minutes away from catastrophe. Maybe. But I’ve noticed something. The more time I spend trying to predict the future, the less time I spend building one. Lately I’ve been thinking about sovereignty—not in the geopolitical sense, but in the personal sense. The ability to remain standing when the world gets strange. The ability to continue creating value when the rules change. The ability to maintain agency when certainty disappears. I don’t think sovereignty comes from predicting the next crisis correctly. I think it comes from becoming durable. Durable skills. Durable relationships. Durable assets. Durable habits. Durable communities. Durable ways of thinking. The irony is that most of the things we’re told are safe turn out to be surprisingly fragile. Employers change. Platforms change. Algorithms change. Governments change. Industries change. Entire economic models change. What remains is your ability to adapt. Your ability to learn. Your ability to create. Your ability to help other people solve meaningful problems. Those things travel with you. ⸻ As someone currently navigating uncertainty, I’ve been forced to confront an uncomfortable truth: Nobody is coming. Not the government. Not the economy. Not the next technology cycle. Not some future employer. The cavalry isn’t late. There is no cavalry. That realization sounds bleak until you discover the other side of it. If nobody is coming, then permission is no longer required. You start looking at the world differently. Instead of asking: “Who will give me an opportunity?” You begin asking: “What can I build?” ⸻ That shift changes everything. A newsletter becomes an asset. A community becomes an asset. A body of work becomes an asset. An audience becomes an asset. A framework becomes an asset. A reputation becomes an asset. Small things at first. Almost invisible. Until one day they aren’t. ⸻ The future may be turbulent. The headlines will almost certainly be dramatic. Some predictions will be right. Most won’t. But the builders will keep building. The creators will keep creating. The learners will keep learning. The people investing in durable things will continue compounding while everyone else is arguing about whose apocalypse is scheduled first. ⸻ So here’s the field note from the edge: Become harder to break than the systems around you. Build things that travel. Own what you can. Learn continuously. Help people. Create assets. Place asymmetric bets. Protect your runway. And keep moving. Not because the future is guaranteed to be good. But because durability is the closest thing we have to sovereignty in an uncertain world. image

DataSlayer (YT) is at it again: Built with $240 and zero remorse... I put the newest long-range radio chip on a Raspberry Pi 5 — a $246 build that does what $20,000 military mesh radios do. I'll show you how I built it, how it compares spec-for-spec, and a live field test that proves it works. No subscriptions, no closed firmware, fully open-source. #meshnetworks #freedomtech #homebrew

My new site live. Built on Astro, hosted free on GitHub Pages, zero vendor lock-in. 25 years in organic SEO. Now focused on Web3 projects, iGaming operators, and founders who need a web presence that passes real due diligence — not just algorithmic box-ticking. The informal Google search before every deal is the one most projects aren't ready for. Free audit if you want an honest read on where you stand. No pitch. #nostr #web3 #SEO #grownostr

Representatives Thomas Massie and Lauren Boebert have introduced the Surveillance Accountability Act (H.R. 8470), landmark legislation requiring federal and local government agencies to obtain warrants based on probable cause before conducting surveillance on American citizens. The bill directly addresses the digital age gap in Fourth Amendment protections. The legislation targets loopholes that currently allow agencies to purchase private location data from commercial brokers, deploy facial recognition systems in public spaces, operate automated license plate readers, and conduct mass digital searches without judicial oversight or meeting the probable cause standard. Key provisions include a private right of action allowing Americans to sue federal employees who violate Fourth Amendment protections, restrictions on facial recognition use in public spaces, elimination of warrantless automated license plate reader programs, and closure of the third-party doctrine loophole by requiring warrants to access data held by internet service providers, banks, and data brokers. The bill was introduced April 23, 2026, and has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee. Surveillance reform has historically attracted bipartisan support, though intelligence agencies and law enforcement continue to oppose such restrictions, citing national security concerns. Source: U.S. House of Representatives. (2026, April 23). Surveillance Accountability Act (H.R. 8470) Congress.gov —— Two Congress members introduced a bill requiring warrants before government agencies can buy your location data, deploy facial recognition, or access records held by your bank or ISP. On paper that sounds like progress. And maybe it is. But notice what it reveals -- that all of this has been happening without warrants. Legally. For years. The bill isn't exposing a scandal. It's trying to close loopholes that were built in deliberately. The Fourth Amendment didn't disappear. It just didn't keep up with the technology. Worth watching -- but worth watching skeptically. MORE SPACE JUNK INCOMING: Google and SpaceX explore data centers in orbit. via SuperHuman AI Newsletter Google and SpaceX are in talks to launch orbital data centers together, per the WSJ, with Musk pitching space as the fastest path to scaling AI compute. Google is also courting other launch providers, with plans to fly two prototype satellites with Planet Labs by early 2027 under Project Suncatcher. They couldn't keep your data safe on the ground, so now they want to put it in orbit where you definitely can't reach it. They breached 18 million French citizens' records from a server in a building. Now Google and SpaceX want to move the data centers to space. Same architecture. Same single points of failure. Same two or three companies controlling the infrastructure. Just harder to audit and impossible to physically access. This isn't decentralization. This is centralization with a better view. The pitch is AI compute at scale. The reality is that your data moves further from your reach with every "upgrade" to the system.
