🐻 BITHUMB BOTCHED A PROMO & SENT 620,000 BTC BY MISTAKE South Korea’s crypto exchange accidentally credited 620,000 BTC (~$40 B+!) to users during a rewards event instead of tiny KRW-denominated payouts. Bithumb recovered ~618,212 BTC (99.7%) and has recouped ~93% of the ~1,788 BTC that was sold. 🔁 Only ~125 BTC remain missing.
