- an ASIC chip runs at 1 TH/s (10^12)
- there are 100 million US households (10^8)
Then we need 10^(21-12-8) = 10^1 = only 10 chips per US household to match the current hashrate! 🔥
If the world has 1 billion households (conservative by 1/2), that’s only 1 chip per household!

Inflation is destroying society. Yes, the policy and politics are corrupt and insane here, generationally so. But I don’t blame the teachers for wanting cost-of-living increases, if that’s genuinely at the root of this. We’re all fighting over the scraps the kleptocracy leaves us at this point.
