Going to Thailand for a month next year, what are some non negotiable stops? I’m looking to spend most of my time away from crowds and on the islands. I would ideally like to spend most of my away from crowds. However I would like to spend a few days in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and wrap up the trip in Phuket.

Always remember this- Mood follows action. Feeling down? You can do something about it, you just need to go & do something. Go on a run, or a stroll, get a workout in, head out for a coffee, call a friend, stretch, meditate, etc. We all have bad days, it’s just a part of life. This little quote has been a game changer for me & I hope someone else can make use of it. Onwards ⚔️

I really don’t think anything clears the mind as well as a completely undistracted night walk. No phone, no music, just a pure dose of solitude & presence. I swear I learn a thing or two about myself every time I do this. It’s interesting when you begin to follow the places your mind goes when there’s no distractions available.

Navigating hard times (& life in general) becomes much easier when you just fully accept that in this moment you are exactly where you need to be.

Failure is probably the single most important thing for anyone Start the business, learn, win, fail, adapt, repeat. Take your shot with a girl, get rejected, take a different approach next time. It’s really not that deep. In essence- Go out, try shit, fuck up and try again. Failure is only an L if you don’t learn anything from the experience. What do you have to lose? We’re all going to die, wouldn’t you rather say you tried? If you’re not failing it only means 2 things- you’re not taking the shots you should be, or you’ve found your groove. Only you know which of these two camps you’re in.

I keep a 90lb kettlebell in the back of my car for outdoor workouts. Not worried 1 bit about anyone stealing it. If you break into my car, manage to wrestle it off the floor, get it out the door & run off with it- I’d be impressed. You earned it & can have it. 🫡

Took a 3 month hiatus from social media, redownloaded X about a week ago, got bored of it almost immediately. It seems like everyone on there is just trying to sell something. It’s either a book, courses by e-com “gurus”, some bs supplements, paid telegram groups, etc. There’s no escaping it, even if your feed is carefully curated. Nostr is just so damn refreshing.

This is your daily reminder that you can quite literally do whatever the hell you want in this life.

Any tips for learning guitar? I’m an absolute rookie. I found a nice starter guitar (acoustic) the other day for a steal of a price, I’ve always wanted to try so I couldn’t say no. I’ve been just strumming and practicing chords, hand posture, finger placement, etc. Should I just hop into learning a song?

Is being on my phone way less a symptom of going nostr only?! Has anyone else experienced this? I love interacting with this protocol, but I no longer feel the urge to be on my phone all the time. There’s no more randomly checking socials for no reason, I’ve just been taking a peek once or twice a day. No more doom scrolling either. It’s actually pretty crazy. I’ve gone without social media for months at a time, and years with all socials deleted, but I’ve never had this balance while having social media apps downloaded on my phone. Seems like a good thing 🤙
