Even though we spend most of our day on the internet, when consciousness begins to fade in those vivid moments before sleep or even at the edge of death memories from the digital world rarely appear. Perhaps it’s because those experiences lack touch, scent, and movement the sensory richness that makes memories dense. Or maybe it’s because they’re mostly semantic memories words and knowledge detached from lived emotion. But in the near future, when all five senses are logged in, the value of content may shift. From views and impressions to how deeply it resonates in someone’s life, and how lastingly it imprints on memory
DNA isn’t just a static blueprint. The expression of our genes is shaped by emotion, memory, nutrition, stress, even human relationships. It makes me wonder what if within us lie dormant genetic memories we haven’t yet recalled? Maybe we’re all trying to remember something long forgotten. The things we’re instinctively drawn to, the sudden sense of familiarity, the flashes of déjà vu What if they’re fragments of ancestral memory, still echoing through our bodies, waiting to be reawakened? Just a thought… but a beautiful one.
The body doesn’t have a single age it carries hundreds of different timelines woven together. Like mitochondria far older than our own birth, and skin cells renewing every few weeks. What appears fragmented organs, thoughts, memories, genes might just be threads of one vast tapestry, slowly rising into form when viewed from the right distance
If pride or embarrassment gets in the way, then it’s not your true dream or desire. If you genuinely want something, you must be willing to throw those things away. When you die, you can’t take your pride or shame with you. The older we get, the more our past achievements pile up and the more rigid we become. Even so, we must stay crazy, bold, and full of action, no matter what.
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of Chinese nationals in Japan. One of the most concerning issues is the lack of legal restrictions on foreign ownership of real estate, allowing quiet and steady acquisition of Japanese land. Moreover, some reports point to Chinese laws that could, under emergency circumstances, reinterpret overseas land holdings as extensions of Chinese interests. This trend raises growing concerns about the long-term impact on Japan’s land sovereignty and cultural identity. While China’s economic strategies are undeniably sophisticated, there is a growing sense that these developments may challenge the unique cultural values and historical spirit Japan has long cherished.
Technology is the brain and nervous system of the empire, while power is its intent and desire. Much of what we call ‘the future’ is merely a continuation of a calculated history that began 500 years ago.
Humans are like a multi-layered storage that bundles together DNA, neural circuits, memories, digital data, and logs, and are like walking information media equipped with input and output interfaces. By coming into contact with the outside world, copies are scattered, fused, and transformed, leaving behind creations🌱 image

Surprisingly, 12% of students at the University of Tokyo, Japan’s top university, are Chinese. In graduate programs, one in five students is Chinese. Regarding Japan’s globally popular anime production, China is poaching Japanese talent with higher wages. Moreover, Chinese investors are increasingly buying up Japanese land, water sources, hotels, ryokans, and temples. At this rate, Japan may eventually become a part of China.
This world is made up of countless layers, and within its complex hierarchy, people tend to fixate on just one. Yet each time we sense a connection to another layer, we discover new meaning and hope. The world is not fixed it’s always movable. image
Doing things without overexertion” is by no means about being lazy. It’s about identifying the constants, adjusting your variable range within the constraints, and moving forward to achieve maximum efficiency. Overexertion might give you a short-term boost, but it’s akin to borrowing energy in advance, leading to debts that pile up later. Not overexerting yourself is surely the optimal design for keeping your system—yourself—running smoothly in the long term
People are sensitive to change not only psychologically but also physically. They struggle to adapt to sudden temperature shifts or new life rhythms, feeling anxiety and confusion due to the speed of change or its unpredictability. As fragile beings, we are equipped with ‘homeostasis,’ optimized for survival. At our core, while we resist change, there’s a contradictory longing to adapt and evolve. In that wavering tension lies a distinctly human beauty
People are more easily moved by emotions and empathy for causality, attaching meaning to things, rather than by data. However, when their survival feels threatened, they’ll betray superficial stories and ultimately choose to protect their survival. I think it’s when the story aligns with the assurance of survival that humans can most powerfully exercise their ability to believe.
Humanity has been living within shared illusions—like software—that operate money, nations, societies, and civilizations. The rise of AI and the coming age of quantum computing are accelerating both the construction and collapse of these illusions at the same time. From now on, what we may need most is the intelligence to observe illusions from the outside, and the will to consciously redesign them from within.
Around the time of the spring equinox, with shifting temperatures and changes in atmospheric pressure, the nervous system becomes more reactive, and brainwaves tend to shift more subtly. For sensitive and highly perceptive individuals, this can mean that sensory input becomes louder— and unfiltered information flows in more easily. Taking a moment to breathe a little deeper, nourishing your body with something warm and gentle, and creating an environment where you feel safe— these small gestures can help cultivate a sensitivity that holds both strength and grace. 🌸 image
I’ve just wrapped up a conference featuring Japan’s Gen Z entrepreneurs. I participated as a media partner through my own podcast🎙️ While Japan’s population continues to decline, the bold initiatives of Gen Z are creating ripple effects. There’s so much we can learn from these future-minded young leader👦🏻🇯🇵
