We should also consider that as a platform matures, people tend to stop talking about the platform itself and start using it for personal purposes. For example, nobody on Instagram talks about Instagram anymore. On Mastodon, people are already starting to talk about a variety of topics rather than just Mastodon. But this is a gradual and organic process.
