Anyone hating on @Oshi for accepting Monero is an idiot.
Anyone who doesn't accept all forms of payment for their services is an idiot.
Publicly grandstanding claiming you've rejected sales in a currency people are offering you makes you a grand-idiot.
I accept fiat currency for my services & convert it into Bitcoin.
It's what you end up in, not what you receive.

Unpopular opinion:
Neither Bitcoin, nor Monero will overthrow governments or whatever cypherpunk psychobabble you got marketed on.
Cryptographically secure currency is there to allow you to move across borders with your wealth intact.
Use whatever you think is right, just don't cry when you make the wrong decision.
Sovereignty isn't a virtue signal, it's a product of preparation & diligence.
Unpopular opinion:
The best savings tool the world has ever seen shouldn't be transacted in daily (as of today).
If you can setup a single sig wallet, you can setup a multisig wallet.
I'm not a Bitcoin Maxi.
I'm a best tool for the job Maxi.
How that coincides has everything to do with lack of alternatives that exceeds the properties I'm after.
It's not tribalism if it's merit based.
PSA: Hold your Bitcoins in a 3of3 multisig with backups for each seed in 3 separate safety deposit boxes, where 2 out of the 3 seeds are in each, where one box being corrupted doesn't affect you whatsoever.
If you can't do this, you should use a Bitkey, adding as many emergency contacts as you can, as well as maxing out the number of fingerprints you can add to the device itself.
For large stacks that affect net worth:
Keep the Bitkey in a safety deposit box.
Keep a smartphone with the app in a separate safety deposit box.
