I was surprised when I heard a group of Freemasons were going on trial in France for running hit squads. I thought these people were above the law. At least in the US, a lot of law enforcement and adjacent groups are members of Masonic lodges. https://nitter.net/AFP/status/2038521030482755894 It turns out the only reason they were caught was because they tried to murder a Mossad agent. https://nitter.net/CatholicSat/status/2038588043309769012 That was a plot twist I did not see coming.

I accidentally liked one of my own posts and tried to unlike it but I couldn't. Apparently, this was a deliberate design decision, but I'm not sure where that's documented.

image @CWGU is CryptWorld from Gamer Uprising. He's still working on getting Tor setup for the forum.

I created an archive of the forum. It's 1.5 GiB compressed, but after unzipping it'll consume about 11.5 GiB. Previously, I said I would process the HTML to remove the hard-coded references to "https://gameruprising.to/", but I changed my mind on that mostly due to time constraints. The HTML is unchanged from what the forum gave me while downloading. The downside of this is that local viewing will be buggy if and when the gameruprising.to domain stops resolving. Hopefully, this backup won't be needed, and the forum will continue to live on even if it's Tor-only. I know the admins are working on that, and we're waiting for a link to be published.

I want to follow some people back, but I'm getting this scary looking warning which I wasn't getting before. I don't want to lose data, so I'm treading carefully. I'm hoping it'll sort itself out on its own if I wait a bit. image #primal #debug

To anyone having trouble loading the Gamer Uprising forum in Brave or other Chromium-based browser, try loading it in Firefox or a Firefox-based browser instead. I don't know why, but the way Chromium-based browsers are making HTTP requests to the forum is making the forum software crash and return a 502 bad gateway. Mysteriously, Firefox does not have this problem. image
