Man I just had a friend come over spontaneously around midnight on a Friday night to help me out with a plumbing issue. He saved my ass literally and figuratively. He wouldn’t even accept money. That right there is a true friend. Thank you Ali, we’ve been friends for 3 decades. He’s been struggling with mental health for the last while but his heart is made of gold and he’s so smart and talented. I see so much potential in him and he’s such a good person. My god I am so lucky to have friends and family who care. It’s been a hard year since my father passed away but reminders like this make me feel less alone. Sorry for the rambling but I had to put this out into the universe for Ali. I need to be more like him.
