So many times I want to tell someone about bitcoin, but if they know where I live then I don't risk mentioning it. Like cool dude helping out with my deck, he needs bitcoin so badly, but I don't want to give anyone any ideas
Mining bitcoin then venting all the heat is a waste of energy It should be very unprofitable relative to people who actually use the heat for something useful I really don't see how these huge public mining companies are going to survive long term
A useful mental model for bitcoin isn't to think of it as "buying Bitcoin" - but to "convert money" Suppose you did some job and client pays you in Japanese yen. Do you wait for the perfect time, draw lines, listen to podcasts before you "buy" usd with it? No, you just convert the yen to your money of choice. Choose bitcoin
@rektbot plays a special role in my life Early in my bitcoin journey I degen traded and lost 1.5 BTC Taught me 3 major lessons 1) Bitcoin can go to ANY price and nobody can see it coming 2) I'm a fucking retard 3) leverage + volatility = hfsp That's why I won't ever borrow against my bitcorns, don't care how many people say it's safe or oh my LTV is low etc etc... just no
