OUTKAST 2.2.1 is out. 📸 Got tired to open my gallery app to crop a picture or a screenshot before posting it, so now photos open in an editor before they're attached: crop, rotate, straighten, light & color sliders, filters, auto-enhance, the full Instagram treatment. Change nothing and the photo goes up untouched. Edited copies leave with no location or camera data. 🧭 Tired of your own feed that show basically the same 7 bots posting dank memes e only a handful of npubs posting GMs and GNs? Now there's an Explore button in Orbit, and Discover opens a list of sections: Network (notes by people you don't follow that your friends liked or reposted, most interacted-with first, computed on your phone from relays, no ranking server, fuck you Primal -but with love-), feed gallery, follow packs, zaps. 🛠 Create your own algorithm: pick people from your contacts, search anyone (a pasted npub works too) or import one of your lists. It's published as a NIP-51 follow set, so other clients see it as a list too. FIXED: 🔇 Mute finally sticks and also hides people from Notifications and Messages. ➖ Unfollow really removes the person from your home feed. 🧡 Your custom reaction stays on the note instead of turning into the red heart. 🏷 Tagged people show their name, not an npub. 🌍 Every string is now translated, in all 25 languages.
