# Game of Life Image Capture is Now Live
We've added image capture to **mossy.xyz**. You can now take snapshots of the real-time Game of Life simulation, with images rendered at the authoritative server level.
When you capture an image, the request travels from your browser through our Cloudflare Worker to the Python simulation server, where it renders the canonical state of that precise moment in the simulation's evolution.
The server-side approach enables something interesting for the future: verifiable, timestamped snapshots. Each image will eventually be uploaded to decentralized storage and posted to the NOSTR feed with cryptographic hash verification and server signatures proving authenticity.
