Here in Australia this journalist called Greg Sheridan who thinks Australians should have more babies and less migrants. Greg, have you seen a baby build a house? We are short over 100,000 construction workers and also short on childcare workers to care of the children we already have. 🤦‍♂️ image
@jack now’s your chance to stage the real coup and recruit everyone from OpenAI to switch from X to Nostr so the media have to join Nostr to keep up with what’s going on at OpenAI/Microsoft AI and then they tell everyone else about Nostr
Yesterday my wife & I shut down her Square Online store after 3 years due to a price hike by Square when they deleted their lowest tier plan. I’m definitely not able to claim I’m any kind of E-Commerce or SEO King after the embarrassing loss we made on that site with even the lowest cost plan, but I couldn’t recommend that platform to anyone due to really bad pagespeed with the page builder being too bloated with DOM and other engineering faults that were probably very bad for SEO. We may spin an online store back up again in the future, but it will be with a different provider.
Threads keeps crashing so it looks like I’m back on planet Nostr! Whats been happening?
They said I’ll never own a house if I keep eating avocado on toast, then the price of houses has doubled or even tripled since then. Might as well live it up. image
I did a naughty thing today & got on the bandwagon for Threads. Please don’t hate me too much 😬
Is it just me or does anyone else see the irony of Google advertising the "free" Chrome browser? If you're not paying for commercially developed software, your data is being sold! #dataprivacy
You have got to wonder how Musk could run a business into the ground any harder! Twitter for me was being able to access information from around the world immediately after it was published. My earliest memories of Twitter I remember being able to follow the Arab Spring, the Fukushima disaster as well as local news & keep up with the ever-evolving technology changes from outside the news sites I read. Limiting an “unverified” user to 600 posts a day? Bananas!
