Two percent of your population had access to the internet in twenty-twenty-two. That’s too many twos.

Excited to see what bitchat will do for people and places around the world with little to no internet access, government internet shutdowns, power outages, etc. @jack #Eritrea View quoted note →

A very simple rack setup for our new inverter + UPS. This’ll keep the internet and power on for 8-10hrs during an outage. We have 2 ISPs we can flip between incase of internet outages. Next step is Solar + Starlink 🛰️ #ProofofWork

Perspective. Went two days w/o electricity and was **ELATED** to find out power came back on this morning. Alex tells me, you know right now in Asmara ☝🏾 they go for one month at a time without power. Eritrea.

Isaias is probably one of the most irrational dictators we’ve ever seen. He wakes up and his tea is too cold; he shuts down all private media. He rolls out of bed with a tummy ache; he cuts off internet access to the entire country. Not surprised. #Eritrea View quoted note →
