My lovely wife has fashioned her own loom and is currently weaving a rug out of a mixture of our unprocessed and processed sheeps wool. The unprocessed wool is straight off the sheeps back, and is filthy (although we have picked out all the poo and we will wash it later). It's amazing how much lanolin is contained in the raw wool, very greasy.
